Project ROUNDTABLE Docs

User guide

Step-by-step instructions for using Project ROUNDTABLE

This guide walks you through everything you can do in Project ROUNDTABLE, one screen and one button at a time. You do not need any technical background to follow it. If a step mentions a button or a field, it is the exact wording you will see on screen.

There are two sides to the site, and the one you use depends on who you are.

Before you begin

  • You need a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari) and an internet connection. Nothing to install.
  • You need an account. Industry users create their own — see Registering your organization. Government accounts are created for you by an administrator.
  • Read What you may and may not send before you type anything into the system. There are things that must never be submitted here.

Getting around the site

Both sides of the site work the same way:

  1. The row of links across the top is the main menu. Clicking one takes you to that section.
  2. Your name appears in the top-right corner, with a Sign Out button next to it; government users also see their role underneath their name.
  3. The Help button in the top-right opens a small menu with two choices: Take the guided tour (a short walkthrough of the page you are on) and Glossary of terms (plain-English definitions of every term and status).
  4. Hovering your mouse over a coloured status label (like SUBMITTED) shows a short explanation of what it means and what happens next.
  5. The small "i" icons next to field names explain what to type in that field.
  6. The line at the bottom of every page reminds you that this is an UNCLASSIFIED pilot system.

If you get stuck

Every page has the Help button in the top-right corner. If something is not working the way you expect, see Troubleshooting.
