What industry partners can do in Project ROUNDTABLE, and where to start

The Industry Portal is the part of Project ROUNDTABLE built for companies, universities, research labs, FFRDCs, and UARCs. You use it to tell the Navy who you are and what you can do, to respond to published requests, and to keep track of everything you have sent.

You do not use it to submit proposals or bid on contracts. See What you may and may not send.

Start here, in this order

Register your organization — one person from your organization creates the account. Ten minutes.
Fill in your organization profile — especially the technology tags, which are what let the Navy find you.
Look at open Calls for Technology — a response to a specific call reaches the right people faster than a general submission.
Send your first submission — a capability statement or white paper, with an optional attachment.
Check its status — and watch your notifications.

The menu across the top

After you sign in, six links run across the top of every page. Hovering over one shows a short description; here is what each is for.

Menu itemWhat it is for
OverviewYour home page — your profile summary, your recent submissions, open opportunities, and the latest news, all on one screen. See The Overview page.
Org ProfileView and update your organization's details, including the technology tags that help the Navy find you. See Your organization profile.
SubmissionsSend capability information to the Navy and track the status of everything you have sent. See Sending a submission and Tracking submissions.
Calls for TechnologyOpen requests from the Navy looking for solutions on specific topics. You can respond directly. See Calls for Technology.
AnnouncementsPublic news and updates from the Navy's industry engagement team. See Announcements.
NotificationsPersonal updates about your submissions, profile, and new opportunities. See Notifications.

In the top-right corner you will also find: a light/dark theme switch, your name and organization, a Sign Out button, and a Help button (guided tour and glossary).

What you can and cannot see

You can see:

  • your own organization's profile and submissions,
  • published announcements,
  • open Calls for Technology,
  • your own notifications.

You cannot see: other organizations, their submissions, the Navy's internal notes about any organization, the engagement ledger, or any export of the whole dataset. Those are government-only.

This is a pilot system

Every page footer says: UNCLASSIFIED — Pilot system. Do not submit source selection information (e.g., proposals in response to competitive solicitations). Take that literally.
