The Overview page

What each panel on your home page means

Overview is the first page you see after signing in, and the first item in the top menu. It is a summary — everything on it is also available on its own page.

Below the page title you will always see the red WARNING — No Source Selection Information box. It is on every page that leads to a submission, on purpose.

The New Submission button at the top-right of the page heading takes you straight to the submission form.

Industry Portal overview

The Industry Portal overview: your organization profile, recent submissions, open Calls for Technology, and the latest announcements — with the source-selection warning that applies to everything you send.

The four panels

Organization profile

Your organization's key facts, with its current review status in the top-right corner of the panel (NEW, UNDER REVIEW, ACTIVE, WATCHLIST, or INACTIVE — see the glossary). It lists:

  • Type — Company, Academia, FFRDC, UARC, Foreign Partner, or Other.
  • CAGE / UEI — a dash () means you have not filled that in.
  • Small business — Yes or No.
  • Location — city and state.
  • Technology tags — the keywords used to route your submissions.

Click View / edit profile → to change any of it.

Recent submissions

Your five most recent submissions, newest first, each with its title, a coloured status label, its type, the date you sent it, and the call it responded to if any. Hover over a status label to see what it means.

If you have not sent anything yet, this panel reads "No submissions yet". Click All submissions → for the full list.

Open Calls for Technology

Up to five open Navy requests, showing the title and either a closing date or Open-ended. Respond → opens the submission form with that call already selected, so your submission is linked to it.

If there are none, the panel reads "No open calls right now". New ones appear here as Navy commands identify needs. Click All open calls → for the full list.

Latest announcements

The three most recent published announcements with a short preview of each. Click through for the full text.
